The new plantroom where the new boiler is housed, is nearing completion with the roof, insulation and flooring screed all complete. The mechanical and electrical equipment which will be installed in the plantroom over the coming months has started arriving at site.
The two bungalows on plots 30 and 31 are really starting to take shape, with windows and doors installed and internal stud walls being built. Once these bungalows are built, they will become the temporary site offices for our team, so we can move out the sports hall which is to be demolished. The temporary works and movement challenges this project has mean every phase must move around tight logistics, especially with tight access and demolition.
Two years sounds like a long time, but with a project as complex as this one, the months are passing with the blink of an eye and the prospect of more and improved accommodation gets nearer.
