The main build which will house the 29 apartments is really starting to take shape now, with the first floor internal walls going in and works starting on the second floor. The new entrance to Marjorie Waite Court on Crombie Avenue is now open and the old entrance is now locked and secure so that we can continue demolition and building works on this part of the site. We have also moved our site offices into the first pair of bungalows. Two further bungalows will be built towards the end of the project.
As the winter nights and weather are looming, can I please take this opportunity to encourage everyone on or near to our site to consider their safety at all times. We are entering a critical and busy part of the build at a time of the year when temperatures drop and daylight hours reduce.
